Step into these valuable conversations!
The Lectures & Conversations projects are a series of professional lectures or dialogue (podcasts or interviews) between experts on various professional topics. Participants will learn the research and information about each topic and analyze how this information applies to their interpreting practice, professional identity, and/or ethical decision making process.
All content is free and open source on-line. Links provided in the project instructions. Participants are required to listen/watch the lecture (all are captioned), and then answer a series of approximately 20 reflections and quiz-like questions that show their engagement with the content: both in topic comprehension and practicing the personal application of the lessons learned. All projects earn Professional Studies CEUs in the amounts and costs listed below. Specialization labels for ethics and PPO are also listed when applicable. All are self-paced and web-based, with no specific time to be online.
